Virginia "Ginny" Lee Henningen-Burke

Delhi Twp. - Virginia Lee Hennigen Burke. Beloved wife of 15 years to late Walter J. Burke. Loving step-mother of Barry (Susan), Thomas (Mary Pat), Paul Linda), and Alan (Margie). Grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Passed away peacefully December 11, 2020 at age 79. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 19, 9:30am to 10:30am at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. Mass of Christian burial will take place at Our Lady of Victory Church, 810 Neeb Rd. on Saturday December 19, at 11:00am.

Ginny worked for 25 years at H&S Pogue's accounting department, and 4 years at Johann Plumbing.

Ginny married the love of her life, Wally Burke, in December, 1987 and moved to St. Bernard. They enjoyed the simple things in life for 15 years until cancer took his life. After he died, Ginny moved back to her birth place in Delhi. She continued enjoying the simple things in life… Taking walks in the neighborhood, making daily visits to the fire house, Kroger, Walmart and Sam Sankers hangout. Ginny had a very special gift of remembering names (and their pet's names), ill family members, and upcoming newborns or weddings! Everyone she knew appreciated that! God bless you Ginny! Ginny, your job is to take care of the firemen and firewomen at the fire house, keep them safe! We will miss you and love you!
