Virginia Ann Cochran

Virginia Ann Cochran was born on June 16, 1939 to Paul and Rosella Cochran in Marion, Ohio.

She has two sisters: Jeanette and Cathy and three brothers: Joe, Mike and Dan. She is survived by two of her brothers, Dan and Joe, and a host of cousins. She attended and graduated from Saint Mary’s Elem/MS/HS and spent some time studying in the convent of Mount Saint Joseph. As a nun she went on with her education becoming a teacher. Virginia then left the convent and went on to do a tour in Barbados as a member of the Peace Corps. She has always been a teacher at heart. Following the Peace Corps, she spent more than 35 years as an Ohio educator, with a few years in Michigan.

After the death of her father, Virginia, her mother, Rose and her sister, Jeanette became three gals that stuck like glue. They did everything together. They moved to New Mexico and had quite a life for many years. She also appeared in multiple film and television productions, including Breaking Bad and Employee of the Month. In recent years, she has resided in Cincinnati. Where she remained an associate member at the mother house in Mount St Joseph and a volunteer with the Our Lady of Victory school system. Her generous spirit brought joy and happiness to the many lives she touched. We will miss her.

A memorial service/mass will be held on January 31, 2025, at our Lady of Victory Church, 810 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233. Her ashes will be interred immediately following the Mass.
