Thomas E. Yeazell

Thomas E. Yeazell passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 75.   He was a 1966 graduate of Elder High School. After serving with the US Army in Vietnam, he went on to receive an associate’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati in 1972.   

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Susan (Schwab) Yeazell. He was a dear brother-in-law to Richard and Carol Stevie, devoted uncle to Beth (Tom) Walker and Laura (Joe) Ash and great uncle to four.  He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Katherine (Bradley) Yeazell and his sister Kathy (George) Blazer.

Tom retired after working 39 years as a computer programmer for Ohio Casualty/Liberty Mutual.  He greatly enjoyed retirement. His main pursuits were shopping (primarily for music and books) and reading.  In addition, Tom was very knowledgeable about cars and loved discussing them with other family members.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45233.  The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church, 810 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45233.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org) or to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://act.alz.org).
