On Monday, March 1, 2021, Gary passed away peacefully at the age of 58.

After migrating from Ireland and England, and living in various north east states, Gary’s parents chose Cincinnati as their final residence to raise their family. Gary was a graduate of Oak Hills High School and later pursued a career as an electrician. He took great pride in his professional accomplishments. He was a hard worker and had great passion for his IBEW Local 212 family. Gary was a one of a kind guy who loved the outdoors, watching Sunday football, and a little nascar. As a first-generation immigrant, Gary was very proud of his Irish heritage. He traveled to Ireland to learn more about his roots and made sure to pass along all that he learned.

Gary was a loving father to four children, Kerri Bram, Michelle Hehman, Terence ‘Adam’ Thomas, Taylor Thomas (Liz). Gary was also a dedicated ‘Poppy’ to 3 grandchildren, Joshua ‘JB’ Hehman, Logan ‘Loagie’ Hehman, and Ester ‘Essie’ Thomas. Gary was proceeded in death by his mother, Ellen Thomas (nee Costello) and father Terence ‘Terry’ Thomas. He was survived by siblings Rosslyn Fanning, David Thomas, and Richard Thomas.

A memorial visitation service and Catholic blessing will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233. The memorial visitation will be from 2-4pm, immediately followed by a Catholic blessing. A celebration of life event will be held upon completion of memorial service at The Public House, lower level event room, 3807 N Bend Rd, Cheviot, OH 45211.
