Royal Denver Sr. Passed away April 13, 2023. He was 64. He was born in Rockcastle County, Ky August 27, 1958. Survived by the love of his life of 47 years Catherine (Kitty). Denver also had 3 loving children: Katie (Eric Braig), Denver Jr (Jessica Truett), Valerie (Doug). Wuebbling. Denver was a proud grandpa of 11: Branden (Jasmine Byrd), Haley, Abby, Devin, Hayden, Mason, Ayilasha, Nathan, Lil Denver, Jayce and Braylin. Denver was also a very proud great grandpa of 5: Thomas, Braxton, Oaklee, Kaiden and Kyson. Denver had 7 siblings: Brenda (late Eddie) Maxey, Billy (Margie) Hensley, Bobby (Lisa) Hensley, Joann (Ronnie) Ebbing, Troy (Linda) Hensley, Jessie (Terri) Hensley, Debbie (Harvey) Green. Denver had 3 sister n laws Marie Hensley, Joyce Hensley and Birdie Stockton. Dear brother-in-law of Joe Bishop. Survived my many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Proceeded in death by his parents, Bill and Kathleen Hensley. Also proceeded in death by his brothers Calvin and Donald Zearn and his sister Delores. Denver was surrounded by family during his passing. Denver was so in love with his wife, they done everything together. And never an I love you went unsaid. Denver loved to hunt and fish. He loved fishing so much, he passed it down to his kids and grandkids. He was the life of the party, love to dance and make everyone dance with him. Denver also loved baseball, even coached his only son, and the love of baseball carried on through the grandkids as well, and he loved watching them all play when he was able too.  Denver enjoyed family get togethers with all his siblings. Denver loved holidays with his kids, grandkids and now great grandkids. Denver lived a great life and will be missed by many but will never be forgotten for the love and humor he brought to all of us. 



Visitation will be held on Thursday April 20th from 5p until 8pm held at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd 45233. Burial will take place on Friday the 21st at 11am at the Radel Funeral home, followed by a graveside service at St Joseph’s New Cemetery 4500 Foley Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238. The family invites friends and family to celebrate Denver’s life starting at 1:30p at the Seton KOFC Hall 4109 West 8th Street, Cincinnati Ohio 45205
