Ronald F Flick

Ronald Francis Flick was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 9, 1953. He died in Cincinnati on November 9, 2021.

Ron was predeceased by his parents, Robert Joseph Flick and Anna Focht Flick.

He is survived by his brother Fr. Robert Flick, wife Sarah, and his sister Renee Wieman, partner John Miller and by nieces Sarah Rank, Lauren Tavano, husband Thomas, and Katie Flick, fiancé Cody Garcia. In addition, Ron is survived by his great-nephews Cormac Rank and Thomas Tavano III. He is survived as well by many cousins and their families.

Ron graduated from Elder High School 50 years ago. He took college courses in computer science and worked for some years in retail sales in several settings. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, known also as MS at the age of 26. Thereafter, he was courageous as he met the challenges of the disease throughout the years of his adult life. This condition progressed over time and Ron faced each new struggle as it came.

Ronnie cared deeply about his family and friends. He had a generous spirit and shared what he had with others. He loved to visit and talk with his loved ones and neighbors. He was friendly and well-liked by all who knew him. He loved music, especially rock and singer-songwriters. Ronnie was kind and compassionate and he will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held at Christ, Prince of Peace United Methodist Church, 10507 Colerain Ave at 1:00PM on Sunday, 21 November.
