Robert F. Meyer

Robert F. Meyer, a beloved figure in his community, passed away peacefully on November 8 2024, at the age of 92. Born on November 8, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert lived a life marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering spirit.

Robert was a proud Cincinnati native, known for his deep passion for sports, particularly for his cherished hometown team, the Cincinnati Reds. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and he realized many of his sports dreams by attending multiple World Series games and two Super Bowls. These memories brought him great joy and became treasured stories that he shared with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving family, including his son Rick Meyer and daughter Cindy Wertz, who were sources of immense pride and joy in his life. His legacy also continues through his granddaughter Shannon Engle and great-grandchildren Kayley, Colin, and Kendall Engle, each holding a special place in his heart.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Louise Nee Bimmerle, who was a guiding light in his life. Together, they created a nurturing and supportive home filled with laughter and love.

A visitation to honor Robert will be held on November 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 1:00 PM, both taking place at Radel Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 650 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233.

His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, and he will be remembered not only for his passion for sports but also for the love he shared with his family and friends. Robert F. Meyer leaves behind a lasting legacy of warmth, kindness, and devotion.
