Pamela Marie Umney, born August 6, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Urban “Sonny” Ebert Jr. and Carol Ebert, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully at the age of 62 on December 28, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and warmth that touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Pam was the beloved mother of Joshua Yeager, Jacob Yeager, Michael Umney, and Andrew Umney, and the proud grandmother of Lilly Yeager-Ballhaus, who was the light of her life. She was a devoted sister to Michael Ebert, David Ebert, and Patty Hils, and a fiercely loyal friend to many who were fortunate enough to call her their own.
Pam was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Umney, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories. Her enduring love for her family and her strength as a widow served as an inspiration to all who knew her.
Pam’s joy for life was reflected in her passions, from her deep love for her family to her delight in her favorite TV shows, which she watched with a smile and a kind word for every character. She was also dedicated to her work as a social worker at Talbert House, where she helped many families as if they were her own. Her home was always a place of warmth and laughter, filled with stories, hugs, and endless love.
To those who knew her, Pam was the kindest of souls—a woman whose gentle heart and giving spirit made the world a brighter place. She was the rock of her family and a guiding light to her friends, always ready with a listening ear and an open heart.
Pam’s love lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchild, siblings, and all those fortunate enough to have been part of her life. She will be remembered as a fierce protector, a compassionate listener, and the kind of person who made the world better just by being in it.
Her memory will be cherished, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who carry her in their hearts. Rest in peace, Pam. You are deeply loved and missed.
