Michael A. Wimmel Sr.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Michael Andrew Wimmel Sr, born December 5th 1953. He passed peacefully on October 4rd 2023 in Cincinnati Ohio at the age of 69. He was an incredibly kind and generous man who touched the hearts and lives of the many people who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio and was an Elder graduate who went on to work and retire for the city of Cincinnati after almost 30 years of service. Beloved husband to the late Judith (Toon) Wimmel. Preceded in death by his Father, William Wimmel Sr, Mother Anna (Kopp) Wimmel,his siblings: brother William Wimmel,brother Ronald Wimmel and sister Ruth Wimmel and his granddaughter Parker Wimmel. He is survived by his three children: son Michael Wimmel, son Mark Wimmel and daughter Ana (Wimmel) Gibson; sister Mary (Wimmel) Mueller, grandchildren: Paisley Wimmel, Piper Wimmel, Gunner Gibson and Jackson Wimmel and many cousins,nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday October 14th at Radel funeral home at 650 Neeb Road Cincinnati Ohio 45233 from 2pm to 5pm. Flowers can be sent to Radel Funeral home or donations can be made to St. Judes children's hospital.
