Melissa R. Thompson-Blessing

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Melissa Thompson Blessing, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 4, 2025. Born on December 23, 1974, Melissa was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, known for her positive personality, kindness, and infectious laughter.

She had a passion for being a cosmetologist and possessed a gift for making people feel beautiful inside and out. Whether she was cutting hair or offering words of wisdom, her down-to-earth nature and compassionate heart made her a source of comfort and joy to all who knew her. Melissa will be deeply missed for her warm spirit and unwavering love for her family.

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Michael Thompson; mother, Beverly Lane; sister, Christy Daniels; brother, Brian Thompson; and many other loving family members.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Blessing; sons, Brent and Gyver Blessing; daughter, Mollie Thompson; grandson, Roman Blessing; granddaughter, Sylia Rose Blessing; and many other children she loved as her own.

She is also survived by her second father, Randy Woganstahl (Emily); second mother, Kathy Pantoja (Juan); siblings, Amie, Michael, and Raymond Thompson; as well as many nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, extended family, and close friends. More then enough to announce lol,

Family meant everything to her, and she will truly be missed.

Visitation will take place at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. on Tuesday March 11, 2025 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm.
