Mary Theresa Pollman

Mary Pollman age 95, passed away on June 26,2023. Mary was born in Cincinnati Ohio to Ben and Matilda Poppe. Mary married Ben Pollman on May 10, 1947 who preceded her in death. Preceded also in death by her sisters Rita Poppe and Marge Poppe) and brother (Bob Poppe) Daughters (Mary Leist(Bob) and Amy Pollman) and son (Gary Pollman) and grandson (Gary Pollman, Jr) Devoted mother of Teri(Al) Boland, Greg (Aileen Nebel) Pollman, Mike Pollman, Mark Pollman. She has 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Her passions were many, but among them she loved to crochet, sew and play bridge. Many friends and families are the beneficiaries of one of her afghans. She loved to entertain either by singing, telling jokes, doing magic acts or always giving a toast during holidays and family gatherings. She was blessed with the ability of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable around her. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am on Friday, July 7 followed by mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes at 3450 Lumardo Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph home (info@stjosephhome.org)
