Devoted mother of Mary Helen (Mike) Reckers, Tim (Carol) Meier, Bob (Aimee) Meier, Cathy (the late Travis) Marvel, Amy (Doug) Roden, Ann (Mark) Agee, Tom (Lisa) Meier. Loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Dear sister of Carolyn Hieber (the late Tom Hieber). Mary Catherine passed away suddenly on Wednesday January 19, 2022 age 86. Mary Catherine was a registered nurse. She met her husband Dick on a blind date at Moonlight Gardens, Coney Island. Mary Catherine was a pro-life advocate who embraced life and loved gardening, reading, and traveling. She could always be found listening to conservative talk on her transistor radio. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa Church, on Saturday January 29 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pregnancy Center West.
