Maria Resch

Maria Resch (nee Hess) has been reunited with her husband, Alois Resch. Maria passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021 at the age of 92.

Maria is from the former Yugoslavia, moved to Germany after WWII, and came to the United States in 1950. Alois followed two years later and they were married on April 19, 1952. Maria was a devoted Catholic, loving wife and dedicated her life to her family.

Maria is survived by sons, Herb (Tracey) and Robert (Donna). Maria, ‘Oma’ is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jacob (Stephanie) Kloepfer, Katie Resch, Kristin (Niraj) Vora, Molly (Van) Crawford, & Mary Ann Resch and 7 great grandchildren, Liam, Parker, Keira, Abhi, Maisie, Eshan and Elliotte.

Preceded in death by parents Katarina and Johann Hess, and brother Peter.

The family appreciates all the care and compassion that was shown to Maria from Bayley Place, where she lived for the past several years, and Hospice of Cincinnati.

Visitation for Maria will be on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. held at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Need Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 4551 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio with burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Bayley Place or Hospice of Cincinnati.
