Logan Jonathon Purvis, 22, of the Westside of Cincinnati passed away suddenly on June 5, 2021, as a result of an enlarged heart. We are in shock and deeply saddened by the loss of Logan.
Logan was born on March 26, 1999 to John Purvis and Denise Miller (nee Gentry). Logan graduated from Elder High School, Class of 2017, and was employed at AK Steel. He loved working on cars with dad, taking his little sisters Anna and Stella to McDonalds, going to Disney World with his stepdad Steve Miller, hanging with "The Boys", and simply being home talking with his mom and his sisters, Brooklyn and Tara. He was so intelligent, compassionate, and had a witty sense of humor.
Logan met “The Boys” when he moved to Cincinnati in third grade. They enjoyed going to Wild Mikes, Ron’s Roost, the race track, and enjoying life's simplicities: making memories, making fun of each other, and singing together.
Anyone who knew Logan for any length of time recognized quickly upon introduction that he had one of the best and kindest hearts in the world. He had an incredible passion for making others laugh. It wasn’t always about what was being said, but his unique delivery. And while his comedy was a special part of him, his source of positivity will never be forgotten. His family and friends will miss him more than words can express, but we trust that his Pappy (Grandpa Gentry) met him at the gates of heaven along with all others who were gone too soon.
There will be a visitation held at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233, 451-8800 on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 3:00 pm -7:00pm and services at 7:30pm.
