Kathryn Ann Hengstebeck

On Friday, August 11, 2023 Kathryn Ann Hengstebeck, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 81.

Born in Detroit, MI on February 11, 1942, she is survived by the love of her life, Bill Hengstebeck, her dedicated husband of 61 years. Their legacy lives on through their 5 children; Steve (Judy) Hengstebeck, Shelly (Mike) Graney, Kristen (Dana) Foster, Katie (Chris) Bachus, and Anne (Mark) Bedinghaus.

Her grandchildren were her greatest joy. All 14 of them were her absolute favorite. Alex (Morgan), Nathan (Hanna), Cole Hengstebeck; Colleen (Steve) Beer; Nikko (Hana), Simeon, Tres, Karson, Teryn, Bree, Kade, Kortez Foster; Braedon, Luke Bachus. Great grandchildren Avery, Hazel, Liam, Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Victoria Reuter, brother Donald, and survived by her sister Betty.

Her dedication to helping others was evident through her volunteer work; Matthew 25 Ministries, Good Sam Hospital, Our Lady of Victory and countless more. Kathy was a true friend to many, cherished aunt and loved by all. As an enthusiastic Cincinnati sports fan she especially loved her Reds. Her Christmas cookies and banana cream pies are legendary. 

“You will miss me when I’m gone”…. She was right!

Visitation will be held at Radel Funeral Home 650 Neeb Rd. 45233 Tuesday 8/15/23 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Wednesday 8/16/23 11:00 am.
