John "Jack" or "Tim" C. Timmers

John Charles ("Jack or "Tim") Timmers Sr. passed away peacefully on March 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Roberta May Timmers (nee Egbers), married for 53 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his 11 children Tiffany (Tim) Taney, Paul Timmers, Michael (Patricia) Timmers, Michelle (Dave) Schneider, Patrick Timmers, Susanne (Steve) Murphy, Elizabeth Keith, John (Aimee) Timmers Jr., Timothy Timmers, Thomas Timmers, Anne (Tim) Swenson. He will also be fondly remembered by his 29 grandchildren: Tim Taney Jr., Tom Taney, Gregory Niehaus, Jenna Niehaus, Jake Niehaus, Tony Timmers, Jarod Timmers, Josie Timmers, Nicole Armor, Stephanie Timmers, Danielle Timmers, Carly Armor, Sophie Armor, Joshua Timmers, Maria Timmers, Luke Stolze, Noah Stolze, Logan Schneider, Austin Timmers, Bailey Timmers, Ryan Murphy, Tyler Murphy, Allison Keith, Monica Keith, Olivia Timmers, John Timmers III, Elise Timmers, Ben Swenson and Bradley Swenson. Also by six great grandchildren, Brayden Stolze, Frankie Taney, Charlotte Taney, George Taney, Millie Murphy, Louis Murphy.

Born on May 31, 1941 to Henry and Dorothy (Steele) Timmers. Dear brother of the late Rosemary (Don) Ruberg, Dorothy (Bob) O'Shaughnessy & Bob (Elizabeth) Timmers. Brother-in-law of Donna (late Paul) Timmers. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.

He was a devout Catholic and a veteran of the US Navy.  He had a quick wit and a long list of one liners that were sure to make you laugh.   As a dedicated grandfather, he and Bobbie made it to as many sporting events and extracurricular activities as possible.   He had a passion for his hometown sports teams and loved his Xavier Musketeers.   He took great pride in being sharply dressed no matter the occasion.  He was first to the dance floor and was known for his smooth moves.   His legacy will continue on through his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Catholic services will be held at St. Antoninus on Tuesday April 9th.  Visitation will begin at 9:30am with Mass of Christian Burial starting promptly at 10:30am.  A celebration of life will be held immediately following mass in the undercroft.   Final interment will be held with immediate family at a later date.
