John H. Meyer

John “Jack” Harry Meyer, DDS passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15th, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane A. (Himmelmann) Meyer of 62 years. Loving father of Melissa Hoyt, Melynda (Bryan) Barr, Jennifer Meyer, Martha (Douglas) Wagner, Mark Meyer MD, and Matthew (Christina) Meyer. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, Kelly, Maxx, Beck, Victor, Grace, John, Ava, Jude and Jonah and was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Meyer, MD.

Jack enjoyed sailing, Westerns, 20th century history, reading and a cold draft beer. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, Xavier University, and the Loyola School of Dentistry. He dutifully served in the Army Reserve. He was a dedicated family dentist for 52 years who loved his profession and his patients. Jack was hard working and easy going. He was fond of his many friends on the golf course. He loved a good joke and was a loyal friend. He adored his wife Jane and a was loving, patient, and fun-loving father.

Visitation on Wednesday August 24th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:0 p.m. at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, Delhi, OH 45233. Funeral services on Thursday August 25th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Antoninius Church 1500 Linneman Road, Cincinnati Ohio, 45238. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Xavier High School 600 North Bend Road, Cincinnati 45224.
