James R Harding

James R. Harding, age 74, passed away from FTD on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 with his loving wife Ginger (Evans) Harding by his side. A devoted father, he is survived by their daughter Jennifer (Timothy) Woeste of Texas and their son Jason (Jamie) Harding of Indiana, 4 grandchildren Trevor and Tara Woeste and Keegan and Tyler (Jordyn) Harding, 2 sisters Judith (Joe) Duwel and Janet Johns along with many nieces and a nephew. He is proceeded in death by his parents Kathlyn Schock Harding and Robert Walter Harding and his Aunt Mildred (Herman) Griffith, Aunt Ruth (Joe) Imhoff, Aunt Dorothy (Fred) Cowart and Aunt Marian (Ralph) Kramer.


Jim attended Our Lady of Lourdes and graduated from Elder High School in 1966. Jim entered and graduated from the Electrician's Apprenticeship program and was a IBEW Local Union 212 Electrician. For many years he was a Foreman at Wray Electric. Jim also studied and held a State of Ohio Fire Alarm License. Later he worked for Archiable Electric installing the Fire Alarm System at Cincinnati Music Hall and finished his career overseeing the remodeling of the Pilot Plants at Sharon Woods Proctor & Gamble retiring in 2004.


Jim's love for baseball started with playing Knothole as a kid. He later played Softball for L.U. 212 with the team winning 1st Place in N.Y. in 1974. Then he turned to managing & coaching at Harrison Jr. Baseball taking teams to Indiana tournaments and later managing a winning Knothole team in Cinti. Jim loved to travel with his wife & they spent their winters in Florida. He will always be loved for his kind heart, wit, generosity and strength.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1st, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 45233

If so desired, Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, 8035 Holbrook Rd Suite 210, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236


A private service will be held at his place of internment, Arlington Memorial Gardens.
