James E. Brauning

James E. Brauning, known for his dedicated role as a Pipe Fitter with Local 392 and member of the Amelia Police Force, passed away on July 26, 2024. Born on July 20, 1969, James leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter and cherished memories.

Throughout his life, James was admired for his ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him. His-loving and loyal nature endeared him to many, while his mischievous, reminiscent of his mother, added a special charm to his personality.

Aside from his professional endeavors, James found joy in spending time with his family, indulging in motorcycle rides, and enthusiastically cheering on teams like the Bengals, Reds, and NASCAR. His love for Jim Beam and beer was only matched by his love for life itself.

Among his proudest accomplishments was a recent act of bravery where he assisted in detaining a suspect during a local liquor store robbery until the police arrived—a testament to his courage and willingness to help others in need.

James will be deeply missed by his lifelong partner Yvonne; daughter Amanda (Conner) Elliott; bonus daughters Lauren and Lilly; grandchildren Nolan Elliott, Adelynn Elliott, and Carter Elliott; siblings Kim (Dave) Kline, Don (Tina) Brauning Jr., Sandy (Todd) Dietrich, Carol Schuerman (Dwayne); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents Donald and Freda Brauning Sr. brother- in-law Todd Schuerman.

A visitation and prayer service will be held on July 31st from 5pm --7pm. Service at 7pm at Radel Funeral and Cremation Services 650 Neeb Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45233 to honor and remember the life of James E. Brauning. His legacy of laughter and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
