Jean Phillips Keiser, 86 died on December 6, 2020 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on August 29, 1934 in Portsmouth, Ohio the daughter of Lawrence and Charlotte (nee Coyle) Phillips both of whom preceded her in death. She married John G. Keiser in Columbus, Ohio on December 27, 1958.
Jean graduated from Holy Redeemer High School, Portsmouth, Ohio in 1952 and from St. Mary’s Hospital, School of Nursing, Huntington, WV in 1955 as a Registered Nurse. She worked in nursing for the State of Ohio for 30 years.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline M. Keiser of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jennifer A. Smyth (Steven Smyth) of Cincinnati, Ohio and four grandchildren, Alexander M. Keiser, Kelsey M. Jennings, (Ian), Gunnar C. Smyth, and Rileigh N. Smyth.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John G. Keiser and her brother Lawrence C. Philips.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on December 11, 2020 at 11:00 at Our Lady of Victory Parish, 810 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. Due to COVID, there will be no visitation. She will be buried at Memorial Burial Park, 10556 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, Ohio 45694.
