Gregory C. Niehaus

Gregory C. "Bo" Niehaus III passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory C. Niehaus, Jr. Bo is survived by his loving mother, Sally; his children, Gregory C. Niehaus IV (Carly) and his son Gregory V, Jenna Butler (Alex) and their son Theodore, and Jake Niehaus (Jade). He is also survived by his siblings, Kelly Schneider (Glenn), Mike (Renee), Tom (Terri), Tim (Patrice), and Kevin (Tara) Niehaus, and Kerry Chakales (Jonathan), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.Bo was the proud owner of Niehaus Lawn Service, where he built a successful business with dedication and hard work. He had an unmatched work ethic, but nothing mattered more to him than his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Bo had a larger-than-life personality and a heart to match. He was happiest surrounded by family and friends, whether watching his favorite teams, enjoying a drink, or just sharing a good laugh. A passionate sports fan, he loved Oklahoma Sooners football and Louisville Cardinals basketball, but no team meant more to him than his Elder Panthers.Bo’s warmth, humor, and generosity will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in those who loved him. Visitation will take place on March 6, from 5:00 – 7:00 Pm at Radel Funeral Home, Neeb Road. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on March 7, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church. A Reception will take place at Plagge Hall, St. Simon Church, Pontius Road, immediately following mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gregory C. Niehaus Scholarship Fund at Elder High School.
