Greg Passed away on January 26th at the age of 76. Loving husband to his lovely, dedicated wife of 57 years, Theda Jane Forbin (Barnes). Loving father of Gregory Jr (Noura), Tracey (Ron) , Steven, Victoria Arcaro (John). Cherished Papaw of Vera, Nadya, Tyler, Baylee, Ava, Landon, Lane, Couper (Maxx), Layton. Dear Brother to Jane, Gary, and the late Grant Forbin. Greg was also an uncle to many, as his nephew Josh would often say, he was a role model to us all. He was a loyal son to his late parents, Lucy and Grant.
Greg was a family man; he retired from Cincinnati Bell after 26 years of service. He was a proud veteran and served in the Old Guard. He spent his days working hard and ensuring his family and extended family were safe and secure. Greg was wise, he had a unique skill set, and was always willing to help anyone in need. Dad would make sure you always had gas in the tank and a regular oil change. Greg was a Christian and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. Following church services on Sundays, the family shared dinners at Grandmas, Homemade Spaghetti and Meatballs were a staple from his mother’s Italian heritage. Greg loved to walk, especially at the beach. His last wish was to have his family surrounding him on his last vacation destination. Knowing his health was failing, with the care of his nurturing and devoted wife, she made this happen for her loving husband. Greg will be missed, his chats, faith in God , his movie star laugh, his diverse taste in music, and his desire for us all to walk the straight line.
