Esther M Vogel

Vogel, Esther M. (nee Toebbe), born July 11, 1934 in Covington, KY passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on December 3rd, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph W. Vogel. Devoted Mother of Susan (Nick) Willing, Joe (Kim), Lee (Nick) Bedinghaus and Karen (Matt) Awad. She is survived by her grandchildren: Andrew (Lisa), Brian (Sarah) and Alex (Shannon), Joe (Laura), Tom, Mike (Olivia), Amy, Cameron (Liz), Nicole (David), Katie (Mark), Kelly (Mike), Abby (Johnny), Megan, Annie and Grace. She is also survived by her 16 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Dear sister of Ruth (Bob) Gerrety, Carl (Mary Jo) Toebbe, Judy (Dave) Schulte, Kathy (Ray) Mongenas, Neal (Margie) Toebbe, and the late JoAnn (Jack) Kunzelman, Lucille (Jim) Wilson and Bernie (Sandie) Toebbe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Louise Toebbe. Visitation at St. Dominic Church from 10:00-11:00 am on Friday, December 17th followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am. Donations can be made to St. Dominic Church.
Esther was devoted to her family, consistently putting them first. She was always willing to give her time to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family cherishes the many Sunday dinners spent at her home sharing good food, laughs and plenty of love. She enjoyed traveling, especially time spent with family on Siesta Key Beach. Her family will miss her dearly.
