Emma M. Gerke

Emma M. Gerke, (nee Reinerman) age 91, of Cincinnati, OH passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024, Beloved wife of, James Gerke. Survived by sister, Shay Coyler. Loving mother of James (Debbie), Frederick, Richard, and Daniel (Julie).  Grandma of Jenna (Brian) Pratchard, Brittney Guy, Zachry, Danny, Italia, Lucius, Ian (Samantha), Jacob (Diana) and Alexis.  Great-Grandma Tyler (Maddie) Gibbs, Camren Gross, Braylen and Braycen Pratchard, Marcus Guy Jr., and Mya Gerke.  Great Great Grandma of Corinna, Cole and Crew Gibbs.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Agnus Reinerman, two sisters and a brother.  Emma enjoyed arts and crafts including sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, and cake decorating. She spent many hours volunteering at The Women’s Connection and Dunham Recreation Center.  Emma was a St. Xavier High School graduate, class of 1950 and retired from The F.W. Woolworth Company.   Friends and family may visit at the funeral home, 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024, Mass of Christian burial at Resurrection of Our Lord, 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2024.   In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
