Born November 24, 1938 in Rochester, Minnesota to the late Martha Bosse (née Stoppel) and William Bosse, Donna grew up in Brampton, North Dakota before attending nursing school in Rochester, Minnesota where she met the love of her life, Charlie. They married and moved to Cincinnati where they shared their lives to lovingly raise their family. Donna passionately served others during her 30 year career as a Registered Nurse at St. Francis Hospital and Mercy Health.
Donna enjoyed competition, participating in and watching sports. From playing basketball in her youth to bowling, tennis and golf leagues throughout her life and being a fan of the Reds, Bengals and UC teams, Donna also encouraged her kids to be active and involved in sports. Donna is still the only family member that has scored a “hole-in-one”.
Donna’s greatest joys were her family and friends, and she enjoyed golfing, walking, vacation travels with family, hiking, dinners and outside gatherings at the swim club, and playing cards and games. Donna was a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Donna’s impact on others was strong and wide, and she will be greatly missed by all of those she touched in her life.
