Donald L. Kelly

Donald L. Kelly, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather was born on October 10, 1936, in Falmouth, Kentucky and passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2025. Donald leaves behind his wife of 61 years Louise (Dene), his children, David (Kristen) Kelly, Tim (Sue) Kelly, Mary (Gregg) Hovis, and Kathy (Darrell)Thayer. He loved and adored his grandchildren, Olivia, Katie, Ryan, Josie, Liz (Ian), Nick, Will (Emma), Ben (Kelsey), Matt, Emily, (Gage), Jacob (Jena), and Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Donald is also survived by his sister, Darlene Hauser.  

Donald was proudest of his family and deeply rooted in his Catholic faith. He had a zest for life, a great sense of humor, loved golfing and spending time with his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

The Kelly Family will receive guests on Friday, January 17, from 9:30 to 10:30 in the Chapel at Bayley located at 990 Bayley Place Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. A mass of Christian burial will immediately follow the visitation. Following the private burial service at St. Joseph Cemetery, the family will join guests at Bayley for a lite luncheon.
