Cosimo “Gus” Cipollone, cherished husband and father, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Loving father of Kathy (Paul) Pflum, Anthony (Nancy), Michael (Roseanne) and Mary (Mike) Zimmer. He is survived by his 9 grandchildren, Sean, Ally, Nick, Christian, Nicole, Matthew, Samantha, Andrew and Isabella, 2 greatgrandchildren, Riley and Oliver, and another great grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by his lovely and devoted wife, Domenica.
Although he was a man of few words, he had the best sayings, “Wake up. This is America” “Am I right or am I right?” “God bless America. But don’t forget Gallo.” and his family’s favorite, “You’re a lousy payer.” Sunday dinners were a staple in his house and he very much looked forward to spending quality time with his family on those days, especially his grandchildren who he absolutely adored. He was extremely proud of his family and took great joy in hearing their stories and accomplishments. He would always boast, “I have the most beautiful grandchildren in the world.” He always gave to people in need. He loved animals. He loved watching old westerns on Sundays and could fix or repair anything! His only hobby was his family.
Cosimo was a devout husband and father who loved his family immensely. He had an adorable smile, the kindest heart and a strong, strong faith. He was always willing to help in any way he could. He loved being surrounded by love. Cosimo built a powerful legacy of love and family that will carry on for generations. He will be so very missed, but never forgotten.
