Catherine “Kay” Marie Faillace (nee Andres), age 82 of Cincinnati, Ohio. Passed away suddenly on December 14, 2021. Born on February 5, 1939 to parents , George and Josephine Andres (nee Ungruhe) preceded in death by husband Louis M. Faillace, sister to, Rev. Anthony Andres, Rev. Joseph Andres, Rose Axtell (William), Hubert Andres (Gloria), Jerome Andres (Louise), John Andres (infant). Loving mother to Mary Padro, Teresa (Anthony Hofmeyer), Tony (Amy), Michael (Mimi), Nick (Debbie), Angela (Matt Huesman), Julie (Mike Brubaker), Joe (Lena). Cherished grandmother to 26; great grandmother to 5. Beloved aunt and dear friend to many. Catherine was a dedicated wife, for over 50 years, and an incredible mother of 8. She worked at Macy’s for over 25 years and was a passionate pro-life advocate. She selflessly cared for our Dad during his long battle with diabetes. She was a parishioner at St. Teresa of Avila Parish for over 50 years, where she volunteered, and enjoyed her many friendships. To say our mom will be missed, is an understatement. Her love for God and her faith was a blessing for us; she often referred to herself as the luckiest mom in the world, when in reality, we are the lucky ones. We love you mom.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St.Teresa of Avila Parish or Pregnancy Center West. Visitation will be held on Tues. Dec. 21st from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. (451-8800). Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Teresa of Avila Church on Weds.
