Carol was born in Cincinnati and grew up an only child. Her fondest dream was fulfilled by marrying her soulmate and having a large family together. As hard working and dedicated providers to seven children, their home was always full of laughter, action, a bit of chaos…but always a lot of love.
While raising her family, Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, especially making her famous chili. In their later years, she and Jack enjoyed live theater and traveling together on multiple trips covering the U.S., from the east coast to Alaska. They were also active supporters of their grandkid’s activities, both on and off the sports fields. Through the years, they were engaged parishioners of both St. Teresa of Avila and Our Lady of Victory.
Beyond her children, Carol and Jack’s legacy undoubtably left its mark on the world through their many grandchildren and great grandchildren. And she will always be remembered for her smile, laugh and genuine love for her family and friends.
Family will host a visitation on Tuesday, January 9, at Radel Funeral Home, from 9:30-10:30am, followed by a Catholic mass at Our Lady of Victory Church, at 11:00am. A celebration of life will follow at Aston Oaks Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America
