Carol Ann Howarth (nee Eisenacher) Born in Cincinnati, Ohio January 6, 1942.
Carol passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 10, 2022, at the age of 80.
Loving mother of Doug (Brenda) Howarth, Jim (Lisa) Howarth and Lori (John) Powers. Devoted grandmother of Kylie (Zane) Banschbach, Tyler Howarth, Austin Powers, Madison Powers, Mason Powers, Brooklyn Howarth and Carson Howarth. Cherished great grandmother of Vayda Banschbach and Levi Banschbach.
Carol was preceded in death by her father Elmer Eisenacher, her mother Ruth Eisenacher, her brother Ron (Pat) Eisenacher and her aunt Anna May Schriener.
Carol was a graduate of Western Hills High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. She had a work ethic like no other and worked at H&R Block for 38+ years, spending most of these working as a district manager. This is where Carol met many of her lifelong friends!
As a people person Carol had a way of making connections. If she met you once, she would remember your name as this was important to her. Carol had a beautiful smile and kind heart and she found joy in helping others.
Carol was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching the Bengals and Reds and traveled to many different baseball stadiums. More than anything, Carol loved going to her grandchildren’s sporting events with her dog and best friend, Teddy.
Despite her many health challenges Carol stayed positive and strived to live each day to the fullest. She was a good neighbor, true friend, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a woman of strong faith.
Carol built a legacy of love and family that will carry on for years to come. She will be deeply missed by many!
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20 from 11:00-1:00 at Whitewater Crossing Church, 5771 Hamilton Cleves Road (State Route 128), Cleves, Ohio 45002. A memorial service will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA give.spcacincinnati.org and The American CancerSociety donate3.cancer.org.
