Arcie Burton
Arcie Mae Burton (nee Williamson), aged 83 passed away on June 20, 2024, in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on March 18, 1941, in Cincinnati, she was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to nurturing her family and home.
Arcie found solace and community at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a regular attendee. Her hobbies included playing softball, participating in bingo nights, and playing horseshoes, activities that brought her much joy and friendships throughout her years.
Arcie was the beloved matriarch of her family, survived by her daughters, Patricia Heideman (Vincent Heideman) and Karen Bailey (Philip Bailey); son, Glenn Walz (Angela Walz); sisters, Margaret Simmington and Donna Ingle; brother, Charles Williamson; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Burton; sons, William Walz Jr. and Joseph Walz; daughter, Deborah Barrett and her parents, Hiram and Grace Williamson.
Arrangements are under the care of Radel Funeral Home, Cincinnati, Ohio, where services will be held to honor her life and legacy. Arcie will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
