Aileen F. Roberts

Aileen Francis Roberts (91) of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Mercy West Park Nursing Facility, surrounded by her family. Aileen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William E. Roberts. She is survived by her loving children, Bill (Cathy) Roberts, Steve Roberts, and Mica (Jim) Dulle. Loving grandmother & mama to Greg (Heather) Roberts, Scott Roberts, Evan (Caitlin) Roberts, Natalie Roberts & Sean Roberts, Amy (Brian) Chase, Drew (Kristin) Dulle, Olivia Dulle. Loving great- grandma and GiGi to Kailey Roberts, Kyle Roberts, Emma & Kendyl Roberts, Jack, Ben and Lily Chase. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Marshall (Bud) Peyton, and Mother, Leona Peyton.
Aileen was born on November 14th of 1929 to Leona and Allan Peyton in Cincinnati where she lived her entire life. On May 25, 1946, she married the love of her life, Bill Roberts. Aileen spent much of her childhood and adult life caring for her brother Bud who had Down Syndrome. Her devotion to him was boundless. Aileen was very involved in the lives of her grandchildren. She spoiled them with love, attention, and trips to the candy store.
She spent the last 4 and a half years at Mercy West Park Nursing Facility where she was loved by the staff. The staff at Mercy treated Mom like family and many called her their “second mother”. She always took an interest in their lives and their families. Our family would like to thank the staff at Mercy West Park for providing exceptional care to our parents and remaining cheerful and loving, despite the difficult work that they do for the elderly. They are truly passionate about their work.
We would also like to thank Hospice of Cincinnati for the care that they provided for Mom at the end of her life. Visitation will take place on September 20, 2021, at 12:00 at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45233. There will be a service immediately following at 1:00.
