John A. Spinney Iii

John A. Spinney III, 83, of North Bend, OH, passed away peacefully at his home on December 2, 2021 with his wife Cyndie (Smith) by his side. Preceded in death by his late wife of 46 years, Mary Ann (nee Ciresi). Also survived by his sister Mary (the late Charlie) Taney, his three children: John Jr., Andy (Bridget), Tony (Katie), and stepchildren Michael Sedler and Deena (Dale) Jeffers; beloved grandfather of Anthony, Andrew, Anna, Elizabeth, Haylee, Patrick Spinney, Nate and Hannah Sedler. Beloved brother-in-law to Tom and Cathy Austing, Tom and Pam Ciresi, Shari and Russ Meyers, Steve and Nancy Smith, Jean and Tom Schwierjohann as well as beloved uncle/great uncle to many.
John (“Spin”) was a proud graduate of Central High School and he retired from Hamilton County Communications Center as a Police Dispatcher for 32 years. In retirement he enjoyed his golf trips with family and friends, spending time with his family, especially their sporting events, and traveling to Florida.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
Visitation will take place at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. (451-8800) on Monday 12/6/21 from 4-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Our Lady of Victory Church on Tuesday 12/7/21 at 11:00AM. Celebration of life immediately following mass at Our Lady of Victory Convocation Center.
