David M. Ott

David Mark Ott passed away peacefully at his home on January 17th, 2023 at the age of 75.

Dave is survived by his loving Spouse of 54 years, Sandra Ott (nee Murray), his beloved children; daughter Jennifer (George) McFarren, son David (Susan) Ott, daughter Lisa (John) Yungbluth, and grandchildren David & Sophia Ott, Lexie & George McFarren, and John (III), Charles, Annie & Matthew Yungbluth.

Dave & Sandy were married July 5th, 1968 and raised their family in Cincinnati. Throughout their career, they worked together to Build and Design premier custom homes for many westside families in Cincinnati. After growing up in Cincinnati’s Holy Family parish, Dave graduated Elder High School in 1965, Dave enlisted into the United States Navy as a proud member of the Naval Seabees, which included a tour in Vietnam. Dave began his career as an Electrician where he owned and operated Ott Electric for 10 years before becoming a Custom Home Builder.

Dave was a loving father to his children, a wonderful husband to Sandy and an adoring “Papa” to his 8 grandchildren. They were known as his 8 Wonders and according to his grandkids, he was known as the “Best Papa ever”. He will be sorely missed by his adoring family.

A visitation to pay respects will be held at Radel Funeral Home located at 650 Neeb Rd in Delhi on Saturday 1/21/2023 from 11:00am to 2:00pm, immediately followed by a short funeral service at Radel.
